^{We collect information two ways: what you give us, and what is collected automatically.}

^{Information you give us. Most of this comes from our application form. When you apply, you may give us:}

• Your name, email, phone number, and how you prefer to be contacted
• Your business name, business website, type of business, and location
• How long you’ve been in business, your team size, your monthly revenue range, and your monthly ad spend range
• Whether you own a majority of your business, your goals, and the biggest thing standing in your way
• How you heard about us, and anything else you choose to tell us

You decide what to share. Some fields are required to evaluate your application; others are optional.

Information collected automatically. When you visit the site, some information is collected automatically through cookies and similar technologies — things like your device type, browser, general location, the pages you view, and how you arrived at the site. We use this to understand how the site is used and to keep it running.

Information from security tools. To protect our forms from spam and abuse, we use Cloudflare Turnstile. It checks that you’re a real person and not an automated bot, and in doing so it may process limited technical information about your device and connection.

• Contact you about your application
• Send you our newsletter — but only if you opt in (partner stories, growth tactics, market analysis, no more than monthly)
• Operate, maintain, and improve the site
• Measure and improve our own advertising
• Protect the site from spam, fraud, and abuse
• Meet our legal and recordkeeping obligations

We don’t use the financial details you share for anything other than evaluating and supporting a potential partnership.

Separately, the advertising and analytics tools we use may “share” information for targeted advertising as California law defines that term — we explain that in the next section, and California residents can opt out (we cover how below).}

Service providers. We use trusted companies to run the site and our operations — for example, our website host and form provider (Webflow), our security provider (Cloudflare), and our email provider. They only receive the information they need to do their job for us, and only to do it.

Legal reasons. If the law requires it, or to protect our rights, safety, or property (or someone else’s), we may disclose information.

Business transfers. If Summit is ever involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be part of that transfer. We would make sure any successor honors this policy.

^{We use cookies and similar technologies to run the site, understand how it’s used, and reach the right operators with our advertising. Here’s who’s involved and what they do:}

Analytics. We use Hotjar to see how people use the site — which pages they visit, where they click, and where they get stuck — so we can make it better. Hotjar may record how visitors move through pages for this purpose.

Call tracking. We use CallRail to understand which of our marketing efforts lead to phone calls. When you call a number on the site, CallRail may capture your phone number, the time and length of the call, and the marketing source that led you to us. Where call recording is enabled, calls may be recorded.

Advertising. We use Google Ads, Meta Ads, and TikTok Ads to show our ads to operators who might be a fit. These services place cookies or pixels on the site that help us measure how our ads perform and reach people who’ve visited us before. Under California law, using them may count as “sharing” your information for targeted advertising.

You can control cookies through your browser settings, and California residents can opt out of this advertising activity — see “Your choices and rights” below. Turning some cookies off may affect how parts of the site work.

^{We use reasonable measures to protect the information you give us. The application form runs over a secure connection, and we limit who can access what we collect. No website or system is ever 100% secure, so we can’t promise perfect security — but we take it seriously, especially the financial details you trust us with.}

^{We keep your application information for as long as we need it to evaluate a potential partnership, support an active one, and meet our legal and business recordkeeping needs. If you’d like us to delete your information, contact us using the details at the end of this policy and we’ll take care of it, subject to any records we’re required to keep.}

^{Newsletter. The newsletter is opt-in. If you’re on it, you can unsubscribe any time using the link in any email.}

Access, correction, deletion. You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Just contact us using the details at the end of this policy.

California residents. California law gives residents specific rights over their personal information — including the right to know what we collect, to request that we delete or correct it, to opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of personal information, and to not be discriminated against for exercising those rights. We don’t sell your information for money, but because we use advertising tools that may “share” it for targeted advertising, you can opt out.

Opt out of targeted advertising. To opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information for advertising, use the “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” link in the site footer, adjust your cookie preferences, or turn on a recognized opt-out signal (like Global Privacy Control) in your browser — we honor those signals where required. You can also opt out directly through your Google, Meta, and TikTok ad settings.

^{Our site and our partnership are for business owners. They’re not directed to anyone under 18, and we don’t knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we’ll delete it.}
